Orders
We encourage all customers to use our webstore, accessible through this website. Regular customers can easily register their accounts and will be able to place orders on their accounts with a few keystrokes and clicks of the mouse. Occasional customers, including individuals, may purchase items using their credit cards on this secure site.

For those customers who prefer to avoid the internet or who have their own ordering systems, we also accept orders by email or fax. Orders may also be placed by telephone to a message line, provided that complete ordering information is given and an email address or fax number is provided for any necessary follow-up. If it is necessary to use the regular mail (e.g., for including a check), we provide two addresses, one in Canada and one in the United States. Orders sent by mail will necessarily take a few days longer to be processed and received.

Prices
Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars for delivery in Canada and in U.S. dollars for delivery elsewhere, and are subject to change without notice. Bookstores, wholesalers, library jobbers and schools or school boards buying class sets (10 or more copies of a single title) usually receive the net price (generally a 20% discount).

Credit card orders
All orders for books that are charged to Visa or Mastercard at the time of ordering are billed in Canadian dollars at the Canadian price. Customers outside Canada will find that the invoice amount is converted back to the currency of their credit card on their bank statements. Since conversion rates vary, it is impossible to say exactly what any invoice will come to in another currency. However, the Canadian and U.S. dollar prices are approximately equal.

Return Policy
All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge.
Please note that returns are accepted for credit only, against future purchases.

Books that are shopworn, marked, stamped, or in any way rendered unsaleable will not be accepted.

Invoice numbers or copies of invoices must be provided for all returns. All returns must be prepaid, and received in mint, resaleable condition. Damage in transit is the responsibility of the customer.

Books may be returned not less than three months and not more than 12 months after purchase. Permission to return must be obtained in advance, preferably by fax to (416) 352-5368. with all details of purchase.

Books supplied in error may be returned for credit in clean, resaleable condition.

Books received in damaged condition may be returned within 30 days for full credit, or you may notify us of damage, try to sell the books and return them at a later date if unsuccessful.

Books with manufacturing defects may be returned for replacement at any time. They should be returned prepaid, and credit will be given for reasonable shipping charges.

Claims for shortages or shipping errors must be made within 30 days, making reference to invoice numbers.
